Having this addiction is both stupid and horrible for your health because your not doing anything with your life. Videogames are the most stupid invention in the world. They make people believe thats actually how people drive or shoot or play hockey. But like every normaly human being knows that if you drive recklessly or shoot like that not only will you be someones jail whore for the rest of your life you will also have your amazingly nice car squashed, and i dont know about you but i wouldnt want that. Also this addcition is the most stupid and wasteful you can have because all you do is sit there and stare at a screen your not really learning anything, besides your not exercizing which in my opinion is way better for you then anything else you can do to lose weight. Life is not made out of videogames and they should not be in our society.

Dangerous Look into the Empty Lives of Teenage Girls

The empty lives of teenage girls is very depressing and a horrible topic to look at, if someone doesn’t want you to know what the do with their lives DON’T STUDY IT!!!!! Doctor Sax is a family physician and leader of the National Association for Single Sex Education; he lives in Pennsylvania with his wife and daughter. He has 3 main ideas of teenage girls and they are: Girls have way more anxiety than boys, therefore causing them to drink, cut and burn themselves, produce bad eating habits, also that girls promote sex more then boys.
Dr. Sax shows that girls are more anxious because they blow things way out of proportion. I agree with this because girls worry more about going to university or college, high school drama, and boyfriends. Boys are one thing that cause a great amount of anxiety for girls. They worry about how they look for that boy, what he thinks of her, how popular he is, if she dated him her popularity status will go way up. “Girls spend a lot of time photo shopping their pictures.” For some weird reason these things stress girls out a lot and they really shouldn’t. Boys don’t really care about those things.
Dr. Sax portrays that being that anxious causes stress relievers like cutting, drinking, and burning themselves. I also agree with this because this causes eating disorders like anorexia. The media has a lot to do with this because it’s telling girls how they should look, dress and act. “Only a minority of girls have diagnosable eating disorders.” In all girls mind they think they are fat because either they want attention, or they have very low self-esteem and they actually think they are fat because people tell them they are. School, the media, and our peers are some of the main causes of anxiety because they all have some kind of influence on you and you take that stuff to heart when someone says it.
Dr. Sax proves that girls are way more sexually active, because they have more to show off. I don’t agree with this but I do at the same time. Girls show this by wearing short skirts and shirts that show a lot of cleavage they are promoting that they want to have sex. “….Girls who are cornering boys, and giving them blow jobs” show that girls will go through great lengths to have sex. Though it may not be all girls who are doing this, a great amount of them are. Oral sex is one of the most popular forms of sex for girls between 12 and 14. Girls initiate sex. Drinking also has something to do with this because everyone knows that when intoxicated its way easier to take advantage of someone. This also causes more teenage pregnancies.
So as you can see Dr. Sax goes in a lot of depth about these subjects and also shows how horribly teenage girls see themselves. This shows that girls have way more anxiety then boys, the reasons for this are: Drinking, Cutting and burning themselves, also how they portray themselves with sex.

Ann Coulter- The Controversy

Ann Coulter is an American conservative and social commentator, author, and syndicated columnist. She some how scammed the people into thinking she was right; lets find out how. Her staff cancelled her speech because they thought it might turn violent, which honestly it might have.
Ann has the right to say whatever she pleases (in her opinion) this is what free speech is all about is she right? She said that the U.S. should take over the muslim countries in which terrotists come from and turn them all to christianity, she also stated that the canadians are lucky that the U.S. is willing to share a continent with them. Which those both are threats of violence, she is taking freedom of speech way to far. So she is causing a controversy because she is being completely stupid and taking things way to far. The Canandian freedom of speech law states that the free communication of ideas and opinions is one of the most precious rights of man, and that every citizen may, accordingly, speak, write and print with freedom, but have deal with their consequences. She is taking it way to far and she needs to learn what the freedom of speech actually is and its limitations because shes hurting a whole bunch of people without even knowing or caring about it.
In my opinion she really needs to learn the rights and freedoms of speech because she obviously doesn't know them and is blowing it way out of proportion. Also there is the fact that she was told when she came to Canada that she wasn't allowed to say things like that so thats another controversy that the Canadian government should asses because otherwise shes going to keep doing it and thats just wrong. She is a complete idiot, and needs to get her priorities straight. In my opinion the country should take a stand and make her apologize publicly.

Scary Places

It was a dark and gloomy night, everyone was at my house and we were bored out of our minds. As we wondered the streets, we decided to go in the old abandoned house on the corner. As we entered the house we heard noises that were not suppose to be there because the house was abandoned. After being totally freaked out we turned and ran out of the house, down the street, and back to my house. We swore never to go there again!

When your in highschool there are alot of challenges, things like drama, people thinking mean and/or good things about you and you not even knowing about it. But what people dont know is that I can read their minds and what people think is not always a good thing because it can be very cruel and very mean. What they think can also be really nice and extremely sweet and sensitive. Usually you judge someone by what they look like or how their personality is, but I judge people by what they think of me and my friends, because I know what they think. I know before anyone else whether or not this person likes me. I even know whether or not they like my friends what kind of mean things they are thinking. No one knows that I can read their minds and I dont really know if I should tell anyone or not because some of the things they think are very insulting, especially some things that men think of women. The insulting ones are things like guys thinking they can use a woman as a peice of meat and thats not right. But theres also the things that women think about men, like a guy is good looking because hes muscular or maybe its because he has a certain hairstyle or what kind of clique hes in, whether their popular or not, its like no one wants to get to know the person before they move further into a relationship. Being able to read minds has its advantages and disadvantages. The advantages are that I get to know something before anyone else, even when no one wants me to I still can. The disadvantages are that I get to hear all those mean things that people think and dont want other people to know. I know that some secrets should go untold but sometimes its hard to control the mind reading. I mean every power has its flaws,it just cant really control mine. When you read minds and find out that maybe one of your friends doesnt like you or that maybe they think your a jerk or something it is very hard to confront them about that. I mean think about it, imagine saying "Oh so why dont you like me?" and them asking how you found out about it because they havent told anyone, you dont really want to let them know that you can read their mind. Different things might happen if I tell people That i can read minds, things like people hating me or screening what they think so I cant read their minds. Somtimes its extremely hard keeping a secret like this. So having the ability to read minds is challenging and hard to deal with sometimes, but its fun and it can be good because then maybe you can find something you want to know about a person.
